Like all the other mythological hero, he was born with super power, and yet he underwent countless difficulties to prove himself a suitable candidate to return to heaven. He learnt that in the end, the true power lies not on shear physical strength, but a strong character with a big heart.

(Lion King - Circle of Life)

The movie depicts how a young lion struggled and persevered after all the adversities in his life, rebuilding his own kingdom.

(Pinocchio- When you wish upon a star)

Another masterpiece of Waltz Disney after the “Snow white”, Pinocchio is a story about an old carpenter’s wooden puppet and its jouney to learn to be brave, honest and unselfish. Pinocchio ended up becoming a real boy. Disney animator used advanced technology to create sea scene in this film, impressing many people. And Jiminy the Cricket is also a focus character, the song “when you wish upon a star” became the main melody of the film and wan the Oscar best animation that year.

(Color of the winds)

The song present a deep relation the white, the Indian, and the mother nature had with simple lyrics. It’s sad to say that our motherland is facing similar crisis, forests are gone and trees were chopped down to further the economic development. The river is no longer clean, and the quiet satisfied life is long gone. We play video games in the concrete jungle instead of enjoying the nature. When you give up caring so much about your own self and start with an open mind to appreciate the great nature, I believe you can see the colours of the wind.

Someday my prince will come

Let’s start with the first ever Disney cartoon musical, “snow white and the seven dwarfs”! when Walt Disney decided to make this animation, many movie critics think people wouldn’t spend money on an animation. To their surprise, the movie turned out to be a huge success, receiving standing ovation from many celebrity including Charles Spencer Chaplin, the famous comedian in the movie premier at Cathay Circle. So starting tonight is one of the songs that become as well popular with the animation, as it says “someday I will find my prince, he may be far away but I know he will come”, I hope everyone here tonight gets their prince and princesses, so let’s wait patient fellas, because “someday, my prince will come ”!

In Disney cartoon, cinderalla, beauty and the beast, Aladdin and sleeping beauty, the five princess series are the most famous, it become our shared memory of childhood. It’s a voice that once encourage us to step out bravely and to embrace our dream!
